Matt 12:35-37
36 But I tell you that men will have to give account on the Day of Judgment for every careless word they have spoken. 37 For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.
NIV
These words were recorded in the New Testament book by the apostle Matthew and were spoken by the Messiah Himself. There have been billions of people who have given little, if any, thought to this warning in the scriptures. Even those who attend religious services regularly do not heed the scriptures about what they say and do. Matthew 12: 35-37 can have real significance to those who think they are correct in their religion and yet casually dismiss the true meaning of the scriptures.
The scriptures also make it clear that every person’s works and deeds will be reviewed in the coming Day of Judgment.
James 2:20-26
20 But are you willing to recognize, you foolish fellow, that faith without works is useless? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered up Isaac his son on the altar? 22 You see that faith was working with his works, and as a result of the works, faith was perfected; 23 and the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “AND ABRAHAM BELIEVED ELOHIM, AND IT WAS RECKONED TO HIM AS RIGHTEOUSNESS,” and he was called the friend of Elohim. 24 You see that a man is justified by works and not by faith alone. 25 In the same way, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out by another way? 26 For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.
NASU
Rev 20:12-15
2 And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds. 14 Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. 15 And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.
NASU
Many people that are alive today say that they believe in a greater being or Creator they refer to as “God”. They feel that the one they call God has created the world, but they don’t know the specifics of his plan for them or for the future of the world. Some of them feel that they have a personal relationship with this god and have a feeling that there is a reward of some kind for them after the death of their physical bodies. Many people have heard ministers, priests, and theologians explain that this god has a place for them in heaven or paradise for their immortal soul.
Most people don’t read the scriptures in depth or even on a regular basis, yet they somehow believe they know the scriptures and will engage in arguments with others who don’t share the same beliefs.
Wars over religious beliefs have been fought throughout the ages. The battles fought over what is called the holy land between Christians and Muslims beginning in the eleventh century and continuing until the end of the thirteenth century are a prime example of how differing religious beliefs have led to brutal wars that resulted in the deaths of many people.
Even today when people consider themselves enlightened and educated, wars and acts of terrorism continue to result in the deaths of thousands of people each year, due in part to differences in religious beliefs. Within Christian and Muslim groups, there are differences in religious beliefs that lead to disagreement and deaths. Many of these people who believe they know the scriptures of their god rush headlong and headstrong into acts of terrorism and retaliation in the belief that they are more correct in their beliefs about their god’s plan for mankind.
It is safe to say that Christians do not believe that the Koran is an authoritative book of writings from the one and only Elohim. The same can be said for Muslims who generally believe that the Koran is the holy word of their one and only Elohim they call Allah.
It is a generally accepted belief that today a larger amount of scholarly studies are available on the biblical scriptures than on any other religious body of writings in existence. Even though there are a large amount of studies, differences still exist between Christian groups, and even within groups, about what the scriptures mean.
There exist several diverse religious groups, commonly called denominations that use the same English versions of the bible, but hold different beliefs that they call doctrines. One Christian group believes it was founded by its own prophet and has its own book they routinely pass on to persons they witness to by going door to door. Christian religious groups have been sending missionaries to countries around the world teaching Christian doctrines for centuries. Christians generally believe that they must save as many souls as they can throughout the world. Christians generally believe that unless a person accepts the Messiah, whom they call “Jesus”, he will burn in the fires of hell eternally. Christians hold various beliefs on the fate of the people’s souls who died before Jesus came to earth to save men’s souls.
Christian groups around the world observe what they call holy days, even though these days are not found in the scriptures. Christmas is the single most celebrated day recognized by Christian groups worldwide. It is characterized by an elderly man who flies around the world in a sleigh pulled by reindeer dispensing gifts to children throughout the world. Christmas is generally held by Christians to be the celebrated birthday of the Messiah, who is the Son of “God” that came to the world as a man to offer Himself as a sacrificial blood offering so that mankind would believe in Him and be saved, giving those who repent from their sins eternal life in heaven.
Christians also celebrate Easter in the spring of the year. It is generally believed by Christians that this day is the day the Messiah rose from the grave after voluntarily giving His life and shedding his blood to cleanse the sins of those people who would accept Him as their Savior. This day is celebrated by attending Sunday sunrise services, having an Easter egg hunt for eggs and candies left by the Easter Rabbit for the children, often followed by lunch at a restaurant in new Easter outfits.
Most Christians don’t see any harm in misleading their small children with the harmless tales of fictional characters like Santa Claus and Peter Rabbit, nor do they seem to understand that their children will someday be shocked to learn these characters do not exist. These same Christians would be shocked to learn that the days of Christmas and Easter are not in the scriptures let alone called to be celebrated by the Creator. Do these Christians ever wonder what the Father and His Son must think when they observe people teaching their children pagan traditions, which are linked to false holy days?
Christians generally believe they are not to lie, but why do they not see these false stories and holy days as lies. Do they really believe that their fables are harmless and will have no harmful effect on their children? Do they really believe that the bible teaches it is proper to go into debt to buy presents and goods for themselves and others as celebration of the Savior’s birth? Even though these false holy days are not in the scriptures, many Christians will become indignant and even belligerent when their beliefs are questioned or challenged. They seem to ignore the scriptures to love your neighbor and to love your enemies that they have been taught by their religious leaders.
It is not difficult for people to learn the truth about the origin of Christmas and Easter. These roots of these days are clearly described in many encyclopedias. The following is one example:
Historians are unsure exactly when Christians first began celebrating the Nativity of Christ. However, most scholars believe that Christmas originated in the 4th century as a Christian substitute for pagan celebrations of the winter solstice. Before the introduction of Christmas, each year beginning on December 17, Romans honored Saturn, the ancient god of agriculture, in a festival called Saturnalia. This festival lasted for seven days and included the winter solstice, which usually occurred around December 25 on the ancient Julian calendar. During Saturnalia the Romans feasted, postponed all business and warfare, exchanged gifts, and temporarily freed their slaves. Many Romans also celebrated the lengthening of daylight following the winter solstice by participating in rituals to glorify Mithra, the ancient Persian god of light (see Mithraism). These and other winter festivities continued through January 1, the festival of Kalends, when Romans marked the day of the new moon and the first day of the month and year.
Most scholars believe that Christmas originated in the 4th century as a Christian substitute for pagan celebrations of the winter solstice.
Although the Gospels describe Jesus’s birth in detail, they never mention the date, so historians do not know on what date he was born. The Roman Catholic Church chose December 25 as the day for the Feast of the Nativity in order to give Christian meaning to existing pagan rituals. For example, the Church replaced festivities honoring the birth of Mithra, the god of light, with festivities to commemorate the birth of Jesus, whom the Bible calls the light of the world. The Catholic Church hoped to draw pagans into its religion by allowing them to continue their revelry while simultaneously honoring the birthday of Jesus.

The above description of the origin of Christmas is found in the Microsoft Encarta Encyclopedia. There is also a very detailed description on the origin of Easter in this encyclopedia that clearly outlines the non-biblical nature of this false holy day. Christians believe that the bible relates the words of their god, yet they tend to ignore what the scriptures have to say about false holy days.
Mark 7:6-8
6 And He said to them, “Rightly did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written:
‘THIS PEOPLE HONORS ME WITH THEIR LIPS,
BUT THEIR HEART IS FAR AWAY FROM ME.
7’BUT IN VAIN DO THEY WORSHIP ME,
TEACHING AS DOCTRINES THE PRECEPTS OF MEN.’
8 “Neglecting the commandment of Elohim, you hold to the tradition of men.”
NASU
The Messiah, who was quoting the prophet Isaiah, spoke the above words, as recorded in the scriptures. It should be clear that these words apply to the false teachings of Easter and Christmas as holy days of the Creator when they are, in fact, false doctrines created from the traditions of men, including the leaders of the Christian groups.
Have you ever witnessed small children opening gifts at Christmas when one becomes jealous because he or she desired a gift given to another child? Have you witnessed the children looking for even more gifts after the supply of gifts under the Christmas tree, itself a product of pagan origin, has been exhausted? Do Christians really believe that a tradition that teaches materialism and encourages selfishness and jealousy at a very young age is pleasing to the Creator?
There are serious deviations from the scriptures in the doctrines of Christian groups. One such doctrine is eternal punishment of lost souls in hell. Over centuries, Christian leaders have developed the doctrine of eternal punishment that has been taught almost worldwide. The doctrine of eternal punishment is not found in scriptures. By reading a good bible encyclopedia, you can learn that the word, hell, is taken from the Hebrew word Sheol that merely means a covered or hidden hole. This word in Hebrew refers to the place where bodies were buried, or the literal grave. It does not mean a place of eternal damnation, as the early Christian writers theorized and developed into a doctrine still taught today in Christian churches.
This doctrine has been used by Christian ministers for centuries to strike fear into the hearts of their unlearned followers. It is a major motivator used by these ministers to scare people into accepting the Messiah, called by the false name “Jesus”, as their Savior so as to have eternal bliss in heaven instead of eternal fire in hell. Ministers may find support for this false doctrine in the writings of men, such as Dante’s Inferno from the Devine Comedy: Inferno, Canto XIX written in approximately 1320 C.E., but they will not find hell or any place of eternal punishment in the scriptures.
The scriptures are clear about what happens to the physical body when one dies:
Dan 12:1-3
“Now at that time Michael, the great prince who stands guard over the sons of your people, will arise. And there will be a time of distress such as never occurred since there was a nation until that time; and at that time your people, everyone who is found written in the book, will be rescued. 2 “Many of those who sleep in the dust of the ground will awake, these to everlasting life, but the others to disgrace and everlasting contempt.
NASU
New Testament scholars do not all agree on the meaning of the English word, Hades, or hell as it is sometimes rendered. If a careful study is done and compared with the scriptures, you will discover that the New Testament word Hades or hell is derived from the Hebrew word Sheol, which literally means pit or grave. There are no scriptures that support the concept that one’s immortal soul will burn in eternal hellfire if the person does not accept the Messiah as their Savior before dying.
1 Kings 11:43
43 And Solomon slept with his fathers and was buried in the city of his father David, and his son Rehoboam reigned in his place.
NASU
1 Cor 15:50-54
51 Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53 For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality.
NASU
1 Cor 15:20-24
20 But Messiah has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21 For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. 22 For as in Adam all die, so in Messiah all will be made alive. 23 But each in his own turn: Messiah, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him.
NIV
Rev 20:11-15
11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done. 14 Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. 15 If anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.
NIV
In the Old Testament, the Hebrew word Sheol, that means grave or pit, is always used as the place the dead are placed. Death is spoken of figuratively as sleep. The books of Kings and Chronicles describe those that are buried as sleeping with their fathers.
In the New Testament, the scriptures are clear that those who sleep are to be resurrected as the Messiah was resurrected. In Revelation chapter 20, the scriptures say the dead will be raised from the graves and the sea. The resurrected dead will be judged according to what they have done, while alive physically, some to everlasting life, others to be thrown into the lake of fire, which is the second death. In Revelation, chapter 20, and verse 15, it is written that even death and Hades, which is defined as eternal hellfire, is thrown into the lake of fire.
Ministers, theologians, and religious scholars have taught that hell is a place that exists for the unrepentant dead. Many people have believed this false concept. Some have been baptized using the false name of the Messiah, believing they have been saved for eternity and that they will die and be with the Messiah in heaven after they die. Some of these same people will take their children to churches on Sunday, believing it is the Sabbath, to be taught the same incorrect teachings that they have been taught. These people are serious about their beliefs, even to the point of argument or worse, with anyone who challenges them. What will they think when they are resurrected from the grave when they will be judged for their words and actions?
Has the Creator warned these people about their actions and has He warned them as to what will happen if they do not follow His commands? The answer to these questions is a resounding yes!
The Old Testament is filled with the history of the nation of Israel. It also includes the laws, statutes and commands that Yahweh gave to the Israelites. It further describes the blessings Yahweh would provide if they obeyed His laws and the curses they would receive for disobedience.
In the book of first Corinthians, Paul explains that the Israelites were an example for the readers of the New Testament:
1 Cor 10:1-12
For I do not want you to be unaware, brethren, that our fathers were all under the cloud and all passed through the sea; 2 and all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea; 3 and all ate the same spiritual food; 4 and all drank the same spiritual drink, for they were drinking from a spiritual rock which followed them; and the rock was Messiah. 5 Nevertheless, with most of them Elohim was not well-pleased; for they were laid low in the wilderness. 6 Now these things happened as examples for us, so that we would not crave evil things as they also craved. 7 Do not be idolaters, as some of them were; as it is written, “THE PEOPLE SAT DOWN TO EAT AND DRINK, AND STOOD UP TO PLAY”” 8 Nor let us act immorally, as some of them did, and twenty-three thousand fell in one day. 9 Nor let us try Yahweh, as some of them did, and were destroyed by the serpents. 10 Nor grumble, as some of them did, and were destroyed by the destroyer. 11 Now these things happened to them as an example, and they were written for our instruction, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.
NASU
The Israelites repeatedly disobeyed Yahweh’s commands, statutes, and laws. Even though they had witnessed the miracles of Yahweh in bringing them out of bondage in the land of Egypt and the destruction of the Egyptian army through no doing of their own, they were afraid to enter the Promised Land even after being commanded to do so by Yahweh. Time after time, the Israelites disobeyed Yahweh and suffered consequences of their actions. The Israelites were so disobedient to Yahweh that He allowed them to be carried away into captivity by pagan nations, where most of the tribes would lose their identities until such time as Messiah returns to earth to claim His firstfruits.
After the Messiah came to earth as a human to give His life for the sins of the firstfruits, the scriptures were written by a different group of men. The Jews had taken over the custody of the scriptures of the Old Testament after their partial return to Jerusalem from Babylon where they had been exiled because of their disobedience to Yahweh. The Romans purged the Jews from Jerusalem after the Messiah’s death.
Yahweh’s word continued, but the scriptures, which became known as the New Testament, contained the recorded words of the Messiah and His apostles. For centuries following the physical death of the Messiah, His teachings that were recorded by His apostles were under the control of a group of men who came to be called Christians, belonging to the movement that was named Christianity. This title itself was developed from man’s disobedience. The name, Jesus Christ, from which came Christianity, was not the name of the Messiah. By studying the Greek and Hebrew Scriptures and bible encyclopedias, it can be learned that the Messiah’s name is Yahshua. Yahshua is the same name as the name of the Father, as written in the Hebrew Old Testament scriptures, and means Yahweh is salvation. The false name, Jesus Christ, does not have the same meaning as Yahshua. Noteworthy is the fact that can be readily learned from scriptures and scholarly studies that the Messiah was never called Jesus Christ until sometime after or during the fifteenth century. See YNCA’s article “The Mistaken J”
In Exodus, it is recorded that the Creator told Moses that His name was Yahweh and that His name was to be remembered for all time. In other scriptures, Yahweh gave the command that His name should not be made useless and that if anyone made His name useless, they would not go unpunished. In the scriptures, Yahweh claims His name is Holy and, in the Old Testament, if any one blasphemed His name, they were to be put to death.
Lev 24:16
16’Moreover, the one who blasphemes the name of the YAHWEH shall surely be put to death; all the congregation shall certainly stone him. The alien as well as the native, when he blasphemes the Name, shall be put to death.
NASU
Yahweh said the same about anyone who did not keep the Sabbath:
Ex 31:14-17
4’Therefore you are to observe the Sabbath, for it is holy to you. Everyone who profanes it shall surely be put to death; for whoever does any work on it, that person shall be cut off from among his people. 15′ For six days work may be done, but on the seventh day there is a Sabbath of complete rest, holy to the YAHWEH; whoever does any work on the Sabbath day shall surely be put to death. 16 ‘So the sons of Israel shall observe the Sabbath, to celebrate the Sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant.’ 17 “It is a sign between Me and the sons of Israel forever; for in six days the YAHWEH made heaven and earth, but on the seventh day He ceased from labor, and was refreshed.”
NASU
Christians have thought the Sabbath falls on the first day of the week since 325 AD when the early Christian Church made Sunday the day of worship. They seem completely ignorant of the fact that there are no scriptures allowing for the Sabbath to be changed from Saturday to Sunday. They also think they do not have to keep the commandments of Yahweh because they have been told, falsely, that the commandments were abolished by the death of the Messiah. Their leaders have wrongly taught them about these scriptures and for the most part, they have not checked the validity of their teachings, to their own peril.
Yahshua has told everyone who reads the scriptures that they are to keep the commands of the Father:
John 15:10-11
10 “If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. 11 “These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.
NASU
1 John 5:1-4
Whoever believes that Yahshua is the Messiah is born of Elohim, and whoever loves the Father loves the child born of Him. 2 By this we know that we love the children of Elohim, when we love Elohim and observe His commandments. 3 For this is the love of Elohim, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome. 4 For whatever is born of Elohim overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world — our faith.
NASU
These New Testament scriptures certainly contradict any teaching that does away with the commandments of the Father. Why then do Christians largely follow the teachings of their leaders that are not scriptural?
In the scriptures, Paul addresses his letters to the saints. The apostle, James, wrote to the twelve tribes who were dispersed abroad. The apostle, Peter, wrote to the aliens that were scattered throughout many areas. Jude wrote to those called “beloved in Elohim and kept for Yahshua”. He wrote about the salvation that had been handed down through faith to the saints. The apostles wrote to not only those called saints, but also to the twelve tribes scattered abroad. It would have been difficult for James to write a letter to those that were scattered abroad that would have reached them during his lifetime, since he did not know their exact whereabouts. James’s writings were designed by Yahweh to be placed into the bible so the scattered twelve tribes could read them as the bible was widely distributed throughout the nations of the world where Yahweh promised He would disperse them if they were disobedient.
Deut 30:1-3
“So it shall be when all of these things have come upon you, the blessing and the curse which I have set before you, and you call them to mind in all nations where Yahweh your Elohim has banished you, 2 and you return to Yahweh your Elohim and obey Him with all your heart and soul according to all that I command you today, you and your sons, 3 then Yahweh your Elohim will restore you from captivity, and have compassion on you, and will gather you again from all the peoples where Yahweh your Elohim has scattered you.
NASU
Dictionaries define saints as religious people. To be considered religious in the eyes of Elohim required that certain criteria must be met.
Rev 14:12
12 Here is the perseverance of the saints who keep the commandments of Elohim and their faith in Yahshua.
NASU
The saints keep the commandments of Elohim and their faith in Yahshua. It is important that the saints follow the example of Yahshua, just as Paul said he strived to do. It seems that Christians give little thought to the fact that Yahshua kept the commandments of the Father, and that means He kept the seventh day Sabbath. Yahshua also used the correct name of the Father and made the true name of the Father known to His disciples.
John 17:6-12
6 “I have manifested Your name to the men whom You gave Me out of the world; they were Yours and You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word. 7 “Now they have come to know that everything You have given Me is from You; 8 for the words which You gave Me I have given to them; and they received them and truly understood that I came forth from You, and they believed that You sent Me. 9 “I ask on their behalf; I do not ask on behalf of the world, but of those whom You have given Me; for they are Yours; 10 and all things that are Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine; and I have been glorified in them. 11 “I am no longer in the world; and yet they themselves are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep them in Your name, the name which You have given Me, that they may be one even as We are. 12 “While I was with them, I was keeping them in Your name which You have given Me; and I guarded them and not one of them perished but the son of perdition, so that the Scripture would be fulfilled.
NASU
In these scriptures, Yahshua is praying to His Father, the Creator, who has the same name as His Son Yahshua. Yahshua’s prayer is recorded in the scriptures for people to read and understand. The Father does not need the scriptures. He made them available for people to read and understand what the true message He, the Father, has for humankind. Yahshua made it clear that He made the name of the Father (Yahweh) known to His disciples. Yahshua also made it clear that the Father had given Him the same name and that Yahshua came forth from His Father Yahweh. Yahshua also made the claim that He kept the disciples in the name given Him by the Father and that only the son of perdition had perished.
Why would Yahshua make this prayer to the Father available for all peoples of the world to read when the scriptures would be widely distributed in a form known as the bible? Why did Yahshua have to make the name of His Father known to men who followed Him? Is it possible that Yahshua knew that His name and the name of His Father would be made useless in the pages of the very bible that was to proclaim His words and the words and commands of His Father to all the nations? These verses and questions lead to another question, why would the Creator make it a commandment not to make His name useless or allow it to become vain?
The Creator proclaimed that His name is Yahweh and that it is His Holy name forever, yet in the bible, His name is removed in favor of a title and He is called “Lord” and “God”. For those who study the bible and can understand its meaning there is a punishment for not knowing the name of the Father and Son. That punishment is described in both the Old and New Testaments. The scriptures reveal that those who know the true names of the Father and the Son will be with the Son when He returns to the earth to establish His Kingdom.
Even though the bible has many scriptures revealing the importance of the commandments including the use of the true name, religious leaders, have for centuries, taught that the commandments are made null by the death of the Messiah. Even people who think they have knowledge of the scriptures and claim they keep the commandments do not!
Yahweh the Father and Yahshua the Son have made known through the scriptures and the prophets what the future holds for those who do not obey Elohim’s commandments and for most it is not at all pleasant. People have also been told that they will not have any excuse when they meet their fate handed out to them in judgment.
Rom 2:1-11
Therefore you have no excuse, everyone of you who passes judgment, for in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things. 2 And we know that the judgment of Elohim rightly falls upon those who practice such things. 3 But do you suppose this, O man, when you pass judgment on those who practice such things and do the same yourself, that you will escape the judgment of Elohim? 4 Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and tolerance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of Elohim leads you to repentance? 5 But because of your stubbornness and unrepentant heart you are storing up wrath for yourself in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of Elohim, 6 who WILL RENDER TO EACH PERSON ACCORDING TO HIS DEEDS: 7 to those who by perseverance in doing good seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life; 8 but to those who are selfishly ambitious and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, wrath and indignation. 9 There will be tribulation and distress for every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek, 10 but glory and honor and peace to everyone who does good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 11 For there is no partiality with Elohim.
NASU
People are storing up for themselves wrath and indignation because they are selfish, ambitious, stubborn and disobedient to Elohim. These people will suffer tribulation and distress because they have done evil in the sight of Elohim. It will make no difference if these people think they are right. Their opinions and thoughts will not be considered important to Yahweh; they will be punished for their disobedience, just as the Israelites were punished in the Old Testament scriptures.
Just as in the time of Noah, people will be singing, partying, and in general living their lives as they please. They will not be keeping the Sabbath and using the correct names of the Father and Son when disaster strikes them. It will be too late for them when the Son returns to earth. They will not be saved and will perish just as the people in Noah’s time were killed as Noah and his family sailed to safety because they listened to the Creator.
Matt 24:37-41
37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.
NIV
The above words are recorded in the scriptures in the New Testament. They are the words of the Messiah Yahshua. He warns people so they can read and learn what they must do to escape the coming disasters revealed in the scriptures. Still many people will perish, even some of those who know and use the correct names of the Father and Son. Yahshua tells these people that they are lawless and will be cast into punishment:
Matt 7:21-23
21 “Not everyone who says to Me, Master Master,,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. 22 “Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Master, Master, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ 23 “And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.’
NASU
Elohim has been very careful to instruct humankind as to what He expects from them if they are to escape punishment and receive a glorious, and happy eternal life. He has been patient for thousands of years giving people the opportunity to repent and obey Him.
The scriptures reveal that only a small number of people will heed the His words. Sadly, most will continue in their self-absorbed lifestyles while ignoring the scriptures. Is this the path you have chosen for yourself, and further, will your actions and words lead others, including your children, to the forewarned destruction?
