The scriptures are very clear about the conditions of mankind in the last days.
People will be selfish, boastful, deceitful worshipers of money without self-control. One just needs to observe what is reported in the news on a daily basis to know what wicked evil people do each and every day. Those reported are just the ones noticed or caught; there are many others who commit evil acts against others who may not be caught.
These are defined in the scriptures as wicked people and while they may think they are getting away with heinous acts that harm others they will be in for a big surprise when they face judgment, and all will.
2 Tim 3:1-5
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.

2 Peter 3:3-7
3 First of all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. 4 They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.” 5 But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens existed and the earth was formed out of water and by water. 6 By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. 7 By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.

The world is full of people who don’t believe they will face a judgement that will lead to eternal death, because they don’t read, believe or care about a Creator who gave them a physical life. They mistakenly believe they can harm others, be selfish and will suffer no consequences.
They scriptures given to the world by the Creator provide details on what happens to wicked people, none will escape coming judgment.
